AMA Recap: NFTify x ChainGuardians

On Friday, July 23th, Nikita Ngan Nguyen, CEO and Co-founder at NFTify, joined a live AMA on ChainGuardians. She gave an informative introduction about what NFTify is, answered questions about the project and about the recent collaboration with ChainGuardians, upcoming plans, and much more.
This blog post includes a recap of the live AMA session and features the questions asked by community members, as well as Nikita’s answers.
Ryan | CG: Alright everyone we are ready to get started! Joining us today is @NikitaNguyen, she is the CEO of NFTify. Nikita, welcome to the ChainGuardians community 🙌🏼 How are you doing today?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: Thank you Ryan and CG family for having me here today! I’m doing fantastic! Just came back from a run and a good workout for this AMA :D
Ryan | CG: That’s great to hear! Not a ton of time to get those workouts in when you work in Blockchain 🤣
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: That’s true! However, we have a proverb in Vietnam saying “To have health is to have everything”. So I try to maintain and improve my health :)
Ryan | CG: Always trying to be the best version of yourself, I like it!
We’re going to start off today with a couple of questions, and then open up the chat and give our community the chance to ask you some questions. Sound good?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: Sounds great. I’m ready
Ryan | CG: Perfect! The first question I have is a basic one: Who are you, and what is NFTify?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: My name is Nikita Ngan Nguyen. I was born and raised in the suburb of Hanoi, Vietnam. My childhood dream was to become a diplomat. After college, thanks to my Japanese language skills, I landed a job in Tokyo and started my IT career with the largest Vietnamese IT firm in Japan.
I was in charge of business development for their Japan and US branches until I and 2 other colleagues founded Ekoios, our Blockchain development house in 2015.
At Ekoios, we get to engage and provide business & tech consulting, development services to hundreds of Blockchain startups all over the world. That definitely gives us a general picture of the Blockchain ecosystem, and helps us come up with the idea of creating NFTify, a platform that we’re confident will become very impactful that is lacking out there.
About NFTify, it is a multi-chain platform where people can create their NFT store and brand without coding.
Anyone can start a store, tokenize & sell NFTs right away instead of spending months and hundreds of thousand of USD to develop something like Opensea, Niftygateway…. This is exactly the problem that we wanted to tackle, to help lower the bar for everyone to join the NFT space.
Ryan | CG: That sounds fantastic! NFTs are everywhere right now, it’s awesome to hear of companies who are lowering the barriers to entry and making it easier for everyone to get involved.
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: That’s so true. As in the crypto space, we see many use-cases in games, music, sports, art, etc., However other industries are also looking into ways to utilize NFT to apply into their business in this digital era.
Ryan | CG: It’s true, the growth in NFTs has been INSANE the last couple of years. Looking forward to seeing the evolution.
Next question: What is the meaning of the name, NFTify?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: The idea of the platform is to create a “Plug & Play” format for anyone who wants to create their own NFT store. We call ourselves the Shopify of NFTs. “ify” comes from Shopify. That’s how we came up with the name “NFT” + “ify” = “NFTify”
Ryan | CG: Next question: Tell us about NFTify as a platform. How do you differentiate NFTify from other NFT marketplaces?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: NFTify is currently a primary marketplace, where sellers can set up their own store, customize the theme, use their own domain name. For example, Chain Guardians NFT store created on our platform will be “Chainguardians.network”, or the domain of your choice. Whereas other marketplaces are mostly secondary, primary sellers and collectors/traders upload their assets in the same environment, which can be unorganized and hard to do marketing… That is the main difference.
Besides that, we are integrating with several chains including ETH, Polygon, Reef, so stores will be able to choose their favorable network to mint NFTs.
AI integration to enhance originality and copyright is also one feature that we’re proud to be the only platform to provide
Ryan | CG: That all sounds fantastic! I’m sure the community will enjoy the integration of several chains 😍
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: We launched the platform a week ago on BSC main net. Integration with ETH and Polygon will be done within August. Users will be able to choose to lower gas fees, target different communities, and open collaborations with other projects in a different network, which I think will be very exciting!

Next question: Who would be your ideal users for NFTify?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: Projects, artists, asset owners, traditional businesses exploring NFTs… who want to have their own shop, marketplace but do not have enough technical, financial resources to build their own. While it is still early, instead of selling on a secondary marketplace and getting your name lost, you can start building your own brand from now with NFTify.
Even artists, collectors, creators that are not Blockchain or crypto savvy, but are curious how NFT works are also our ideal users. It costs nothing to create a shop on our platform
Ryan | CG: “Build your own brand” and “Costs nothing to create a shop” are fantastic ways to market yourself 👏🏼
Ryan | CG: How could NFTify help ChainGuardians and its NFT owners?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: ChainGuardians store on NFTify will become the ONE place for its community to come to and find original NFTs. People won’t have to go to different platforms to look for their new favorite characters. The features and design that we’re working on will provide the best environment for CG to sell and manage transactions. Therefore, you’ll have more time to focus on creating more exciting arts.
We are also going to integrate our secondary marketplace so CG NFT owners will have a seamless environment to trade, lend/borrow, stake etc., their NFTs on multi-chain. That will create an ecosystem for both CG and its NFT owners to make money

Community Questions
1. Question from @Vim0908: About multichain, currently you can only exchange the NFTify tokens from one network to another, for when we will have the swap for all the other tokens betwen networks to buy the NFTs or will be only avaible buy with NFTify token?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: Currently we’re supporting USDT, BUSD, and our own native token N1. As integration with other chains are finished, chains’ tokens (ETH, Matic, Reef as of current plan) will also be supported. We already launched a bridge for users to swap.
2. Question from @rajesh_koo: Hi. I’m one of the NFTify Early Adopters. I registered a store on your platform. I want to know more about your upcoming plan. When will other NFT formats like music, video, game be supported.
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: Thank you very much for being an Early Adopter.
Currently we support images formats. By July 31st, Wav/MP3/3D will also be supported. We will be working on support Mov, MPEP etc., afterwards.
As for other features, we will add more themes and plugins for users to customize their store; possible integrate fiat payment as we hear high demand for fiat payment, and also as we’d like to penetrate traditional business.
3. Question from @MBP1331: What kind of features will setting up a store include (i.e customise the whole look and functionality?) and are there free/paid options for storefronts?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: At the current stage, you’ll be able to experience 4 main features:
- Customize theme
- Setup domain
- Create NFT
- Sell NFT: Currently you can create 2 sell orders: fixed price/make offer.
In make offer, buyer will be able to offer to buy at a price either higher or lower than what seller has set. Auction will be added in the future.
As of now, to create a store is totally free. We may consider paid options in the future. However, the purpose is to create an environment where more and more people can start their NFT business. So as long as we’re able to create a community strong enough to support us, we’ll try to keep it free as long as possible.
4. Question from @wolcott1003: This question is for you! The passion from the team for the chain guardian platform is unrivaled and is felt through the entire community as well as the art created here! So my question Nikita is what is your passion and how will that drive your platform alone and with your collaboration with the chaingaurdian platform!
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: My passion is to create something meaningful and lasts with time. I do think that as we’re able to make more and more people realize the utility of NFT, create practical use-cases for people to start getting involved and benefit from it, it will be here to stay.
With that being said, our team focus right now is to engage with our real users to improve and develop features that serve the needs and solve the problems; as well as to create use-cases for artists/creators/brands… for them to start engage with their community and adjust business in a better way via NFTs.
With ChainGuardians, I love their art!!! I have asked Emma to create a Guardian for myself. But I need to come up with the definition of myself first :)
I hope NFTify will provide a platform for ChainGuardians to further promote their art and widely collaborate with other projects on the metaverse.
5. Question from @ruumoon: What are the requirements for listing an NFT in NFTify? Do I need to Hold $NFTify?
Nikita Ngan Nguyen: No requirements! You don’t need to hold N1 which is our native token to list.
